Xbox 360 Dashboard Update

Microsofts announced about the new Xbox Live Dashboard Update which will take place on the 11th August. The Update futures New Netflix, Avatar Marketplace, Games on Demand and more. While Twitter, Facebook, Last.fm, and Zune Marketplace won’t be landing until the fall.

Avatar Marketplace
Let’s start of at the Avatar Marketplace, since we know a lot of how you are customizing your avatars. Two things should be noted here. Firstly, you will be able to create avatars that are way more unique than the standard offerings. Secondly, you will pay for that privilege.

Games on Demand
Games on Demand lets you purchase and download full games directly to your Xbox 360 harddrive.

Netflix

The new Netflix updates found in this latest update is what Netflix on the 360 should have been from the begining. Everything is split up into categories, including New Arrivals in movies and television. You can also have Movie Parties. You can invite other Xbox 360 Gold Members who are also Netflix subscribers to watch Netflix movies with you.
