It's been over twenty five years since the original Tron took the theaters by storm, but it looks like Tron fever may be sweeping the nation again in 2011.

TRON is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that’s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn, the tech-savvy son of Kevin Flynn (JEFF BRIDGES), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years.

Microsofts announced about the new Xbox Live Dashboard Update which will take place on the 11th August. The Update futures New Netflix, Avatar Marketplace, Games on Demand and more. While Twitter, Facebook, Last.fm, and Zune Marketplace won’t be landing until the fall.

At a recent event in Delhi, Microsoft revealed some information about the future for Xbox. A rumor of a new Xbox is called Xbox 360 slim. It's slimmer and apparently it has 1TB hard disk and will be bundled with Project Natal.

Quake Heading for Xbox 360 Arcade

id Software has announced that its next project for Xbox Live Arcade is called Quake Arena Arcade. But there is only one question, how the fast gameplay works with a gamepad?

So why publish Quake III: Team Arena when Quake 4 took the Xbox 360 by storm? Pi Studios has ushered the very first screenshot of the game, but sure i agree it's just pretty boring menu screen.

Game Delay From Take 2

Are you waiting for Bioshock 2, Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3? unfortunately you have to redo your wishlist before Christmas. The publisher Take-Two announces through there financial report that the three titles will not be released this year.

It stands certainly “the financial year 2010” as a goal and it starts the first of November but later Take-Two clarified that it is the first half of the calendar year 2010 thats valid.

Apart from they previous mentioned three we are looking forward to Mafia II but on the other hand there will be no new Grand Theft Auto. It was confirmed in same wave as the delay so we can only be satisfied with the expansion The Ballad of Gay Tony for a while more, whish can be the year's smoothest name.

Modern Warfare 2 is Call of Duty 6

As for how well known the trademark Call of Duty is it feel enough amusing to rub the the name Call of Duty in the next game in the sequel. Modern Warfare should according to responsible be sufficient, but now they have probaly come up with new thoughts.

You know, this is just way too much drama for a freakin' video game title. But at least the entire issue should be laid to rest, as Activision has finally clarified.

Mechwarrior is Revived !

The Mechwarrior-sequel seems out to be alive after all. In the last days several web sites, with VE3D in the point, sugest to disclose about a new game (it acts quite clearly about a Mechwarrior 5) is on develpment. There is realy no longer a doubt - three teaser-movies clears all possible doubt and IGN boasts with an exclusive developer interview on Thursday.

So far it's tight with concrete details about the game. Current information says that the development is done by Piranha Games' and the game is given out to EA. And of course that you can once again sit behind the levers on armed a mech. BIG mechs.

To begin with the name will shortly be called Mechwarrior - in other words there will be no number five after the maintitle. - and teh developers explains that this will be a new start for the sequel. The older games was limited by the technology we had in the past, but with todays technology computer power in our hands they hope to create the feeling to actually drive a huge war machine. A singelplayer campagin and a co-op mode for four players is avaviable and ofcourse a multiplayer. How many different mech types it contain is still unclear

The game is developed for Windows and Xbox 360, a potential release date is missing.But as a solace in the suffering you have this debut trailer right bellow.

American Game Study Shows Trends

A study from branch watching NPD Group shows that more interesting trends. The quantity" Extreme game enthusiasm, or in other word game geeks, seems to decrease. The groupe constitute only four percent of all that playes tv - computer games and there play time per week have decrease by 39 hours form the previous 46 hours. The study also shows that 50 percent of all computer gamers is female and that 28 percent av all console playing gamers are female. Lastly they establish that 38 percent of all playtime is online. The game study is named The Gamer Augmenation 2009.

Halo Natal?

For the newspaper Seattle Times says Bungies Harold Ryan that Halo: Reach “absolute would work with it”, i mean Microsofts Natal that was disclosed earlier this summer.

Halo: Reach is released the autumn 2010 to Xbox 360. In view of that Bungie already learns have got access to develop for just Natal so has they thereby without doubt good about time to examine if the technology would fit the playing or not.
