It has long been a long rumor but now has Capcom at last confirmed that Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes is on road to Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The game will be released this summer to both formats, but already on Thursday comes one demo to Playstation Store - at least in USA.
Ofcourse It's the successes with Super Street figher II Turbo HD Remix and Street fighter IV that wants Capcom to one more punches-up. Marvel vs Capcom 2 is one of their most popular arcade games over time and despite the licence problem has the requested new versions since it first was released.
In the game, you plays with three character at time. from a list of 56 Capcom - or Marvel-heroes as Ryu, Ken, Strider, Mega Man, Morrigan, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Iron one, Magneto or Hulk.
News are of course the HD graphics and there is possibility to put in own soundtrack in order to get rid of the controversial jazz-soundtrack.
Marvel vs Capcom 2 will have a support for online play, and fan of 2D-fighting has may yet another classic to put in the wish list. The only question is well if the balance has been changed or if we still will may to see team only based on storm, Magneto and Sentinel…
